Lots-o-learning!

It is hard to believe we are down to our final three weeks as kindergartners.  Despite the fact we have lots going on our learning is still in full gear and we arrived so some very exciting learning opportunities this marvelous Monday morning!  We started the day with the discovery that our pupas' had transitioned into the first stage of lady bugs (yellow/orange shells).  We even got to see one emerge from its pupa during our observation time.   Additionally, we discovered that many of our bulbs started to sprout.  So exciting!!
For math we did a little brain stretching with a game of "hide and peek".  The children gave their partners a number and then hid the remaining items (all totaling 10) behind their backs.  The children then had to formulate two math problems to solve the add-in unknown equation.  They did a very good job thinking up to 10.
