Class Name

Happy Friday!
Today we read two books about feelings and created a class book to share our favorite feeling.  Most of us were happy but a few friends were extra creative and drew excited or mad faces.  So cute!
We also took today to create our class name.  We read the book "Jack's Talent" and talked about how we all have special qualities and gifts.  We discussed qualities we want in a friend and listed them.  We wanted our friends to be: kind, helpful, nice, brave, smart, friendly and generous (shares a lot).  After listing the traits we talked about people or animals that have those personality traits and voted for our favorite.  
I am so proud to introduce to your that this year my class is "The Heroes".
What a perfect name for the sweeties that are winning my heart!
